NOTES (fragments)

March, 2026

Lately, I have been thinking about what a contemporary Rococo way of living might be. Taking notes of private moments. The colors of Mallorca last summer remain vivid, still shaping the work.

knowing someone doesnt really matter, they might like pineapple today, but that can change tomorrow.

If I store my feelings in a can, would it last longer?

If I canned my feelings, would it last longer?

If memories could be canned, would they also have expiry dates?

If so, I hope they last for centuries.

ALL THE GOOD THINGS : THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS

In 'The Pursuit of Happiness,' I aim to capture the essence of joy and contentment through the tranquil beauty of the ocean, the rhythmic dance of its waves, and the warmth of a summer sun. This painting is a visual celebration of those precious moments when we find happiness in the simplicity of nature's wonders. The ocean's vastness mirrors our aspirations, while the waves represent life's continuous ebb and flow. The summer sun bathes everything in a golden glow, infusing the scene with a sense of optimism and vitality. Through this artwork, I invite viewers to embrace the serenity of the ocean, feel the embrace of the summer sun, and reflect on their own pursuit of happiness in life's ever-changing tides.

UNIVERSE

This series serves as a tribute to the unseen energies that assist us in achieving what we desire. Inspired by Paulo Coelho's 'The Alchemist,' this piece explores the concept that 'when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.' It symbolizes the infinite power and magic of the universe, acting as a talisman to amplify our aspirations.

CONVERSATION

Something I meant to tell you, do you remember me? is a message to the artist herself. Gratitude, apologies, and memories of lessons from the past moment. It is necessary to have a private conversation with myself, even if time passed and I can’t collect the moments of life.

Here we are, living in a dream. Are we living in a dream? Or just our daily existence of a sugar-coated darkness of fear

Have we forgiven ourselves for past mistakes? Should we tolerate it? Have you said thank you to yourself? Why do we work so hard just to be who we really are?

Are we still chasing after dreams and aspirations?

Within this artistic realm, I discovered a unique way to encapsulate the essence of my journey, like the excitement of unwrapping a gift. In a state of grief and lack of motivation, amidst the shadows of my darkest moments, I delved into my memories to recollect the one who had shown me how to experience life with maximizing happiness. It has allowed me to connect with my past, rekindle faded memories, and rediscover the lessons that have shaped my understanding of happiness. Through my artwork, I aspire to inspire others to embark on their explorations, unwrap the precious moments of their lives, embracing the joy that can be found in the most unexpected places.

“I am not interested in ‘abstracting’ or taking things out or reducing painting to design, form, line, and color. I paint this way because I can keep putting more things in it - drama, anger, pain, love, a figure, a horse, my ideas about space. Through your eyes it again becomes an emotion or idea” - Willem de Kooning

Intangible magic that exists within and around us, the unseen threads of the universe that conspire to fulfill our deepest desires.

Imagine looking through a special toy called a kaleidoscope. Inside, you see many tiny, colorful fragments that form beautiful patterns and shapes. These patterns constantly shift, resembling vivid, ever-changing dreams.

I use the kaleidoscope as a metaphor for the diverse perspectives and viewpoints we encounter in life. Much like the patterns within the kaleidoscope, our experiences and emotions are in a state of constant flux. This continual movement and transformation can sometimes leave us feeling overwhelmed or confused as we navigate the many possibilities and choices in our lives.

Through this exhibition, I invite you to look beyond the surface and delve into the deeper emotional and mindscape within each piece. Like gazing through a kaleidoscope, I hope to share the experience of discovering your own meaning within the chaos and beauty.
